Introducing the New Winnipeg Yawl 23

More Boat. More Capability. Same Legendary Heritage.

For generations, the Winnipeg Yawl has earned its reputation in places where boats are expected to do more than look good at the dock. Now, Lake of the Woods Boatworks is taking that proven concept to the next level with the new Winnipeg Yawl 23.

Bow of the Winnipeg Yawl 23At 23 feet, the new Yawl offers more space, more power, more versatility and greater protection from the elements, while staying true to the rugged, rough-water heritage that has defined the Winnipeg Yawl for 70 years.

Built for Big Water and Big Plans

The Winnipeg Yawl 23 is designed as a true multi-purpose boat. Take it across big water, load it with fishing gear, haul supplies to the cabin, explore remote shorelines or simply fill it with family and friends for a day on the water.

At the heart of the boat is the Winnipeg Yawl’s fiberglass soft-chine, semi-displacement hull, a design rooted in boats developed for the demanding waters of Lake Winnipeg. The result is a boat designed for versatility and confidence when conditions on the water change.

Powered by Suzuki

The Winnipeg Yawl 23 comes powered by a Suzuki 200-horsepower outboard with Auto Trim and Troll Mode. Suzuki Precision Control (SPC) System 2.0 provides electronic throttle control, while a Garmin GPS with a 12-inch screen comes standard at the helm. For boaters who want additional propulsion options, the Yawl 23 can also be equipped with an optional 9.9-horsepower auxiliary motor and an optional Garmin trolling motor.

All-Weather Protection Without Giving Up Access

One of the defining features of the Winnipeg Yawl 23 is its center-console design with a full glass windscreen and canvas roof. It provides valuable protection from wind, spray and changing weather while maintaining the all-around access that makes a center-console boat so versatile.

A windshield wiper, two bow-access doors with latches and under-console storage make the design even more practical for multi-season, big-water boating.

Designed Around the Way You’ll Actually Use It

The Yawl 23 combines serious capability with practical details throughout the boat. Two adjustable captain’s chairs and two bow pedestal seats provide comfortable seating, while a 100-quart RTIC cooler with a padded seat adds both storage and another useful place to sit.

Up front, a two-tier bow deck incorporates three storage compartments. Other standard features include a fluke anchor with line and rode bag, commercial-grade bow and stern mooring cleats, an aft platform and boarding ladder, and easy access to the battery and control box.

The removable aft deck also provides convenient access to the boat’s 2,200 GPH bilge pump.
